The researcher in this case combined being employed by a consultancy with a part-time endowed professorship. Having assessed all the relevant facts and circumstances, the LOWI concluded that the standards set in the Code of Conduct were not applicable. The circumstances in this case differed from those in the LOWI Advisory Opinion 2021-20.
