The Netherlands Board on Research Integrity (LOWI)

Pagina-navigatie:

The Netherlands Board on Research Integrity (LOWI) is an independent advisory body, established in 2003 by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Arts and Sciences (KNAW), the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), and the Association of Universities in the Netherlands (VSNU).

The LOWI advises the Boards of its affiliated institutions regarding possible violations of principles of research integrity. Its opinions are in the Dutch language.

Authorities, such as LOWI, and persons working under their responsibility shall use the Dutch language, unless provided otherwise by statutory regulation.

Notwithstanding the above, a request may be filed in English if the use of the English language is more effective and the interests of third persons are not disproportionately harmed.

Do you want to request the LOWI for its opinion on a (preliminary) decision regarding a possible violation of the principles of research integrity, taken by the Board of an affiliated institution?

Requests to the LOWI should be submitted in duplicate by regular mail in accordance with this format letter.

Read more about the procedure.
